DVL Public Relations and Advertising Relocates to Terrazzo

NASHVILLE, Tenn.– Feb. 4, 2011 –  Dye, Van Mol & Lawrence (DVL),  a 50-employee public relations and advertising agency,  announced it will relocate its offices to Terrazzo in The Gulch in June.

“Our DVL team is looking forward to moving our offices to this vibrant location in The Gulch,” said DVL CEO John Van Mol.  “While our location may be changing, our focus won’t change – to produce great results for our great clients. 

“Since the founding of the agency 31 years ago, we have occupied some very distinctive spaces in the downtown Nashville area.  With this move, we are looking forward to being in an area downtown where so much growth and activity is taking place,” Van Mol added.

The agency will occupy 21,000 square feet of the fourth floor (the highest floor for commercial tenants) with the right to expand into the remaining available space on that floor in the future.  The entrance will be on the main public plaza at the corner of 12th and Division.  DVL’s logo will also adorn the building exterior. 

Bo Tyler and Tom Harwell, commercial brokers at Eakin Partners represented DVL. Rob Gage and Robby Davis, commercial brokers at Cassidy Turley, represented Terrazzo. DVL will use Smith Gee Architects and Solomon Builders for the design and construction of the new space.

“We believe DVL’s move to the Terrazzo, the first LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified high-rise in downtown Nashville is significant in that it’s a well-established creative business locating to The Gulch – a LEED certified neighborhood that continues to see increased commitment and interest from the business community,” according to Burgin Dossett, senior vice president of Crosland’s Tennessee division, Terrazzo’s developer.

DVL works with more than 40 clients including Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, Tractor Supply Company, Bridgestone Americas and two brands of the J.M. Smucker Company, Martha White and White Lily.

Currently, DVL is the anchor tenant in the old YWCA building at 209 Seventh Avenue North. The agency has been located at this address since 1993, and prior to that occupied the historic DeMoss Building at 126 2nd Avenue North, next door to what is now the Wildhorse Saloon.

Ticketmaster Moves Local Office to Terrazzo

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (November 22, 2010) — Ticketmaster, a Live Nation Entertainment company, has leased more than 2,000 square feet of office space at Terrazzo, the $68 million mixed-use, LEED certified development in The Gulch, announced Burgin Dossett, senior vice president of Crosland’s Tennessee division, Terrazzo’s developer.

Ticketmaster’s Nashville office, which is currently located in the Music Row area, includes the company’s management and operations for Tennessee. Construction is underway for Ticketmaster’s office interior on the third floor of Terrazzo, and the move is scheduled for late December.

Rob Gage and Robby Davis, commercial brokers at Cassidy Turley, represented Terrazzo. Tatum Flynn, commercial broker at Newmark Knight Frank, represented Ticketmaster.

Colliers International Chosen as Representative for Terrazzo Retail. Cassidy Turley Represents Terrazzo Office.

NASHVILLE (July 6, 2010) — Colliers International today announced that the firm has been selected by Charlotte-based Crosland to coordinate retail leasing for Terrazzo.

A 14-story mixed-use, LEED Silver certified building in The Gulch, Terrazzo’s street-level retail space is topped by three floors of office space and 10 floors with 117 high-end condominiums.

Mike Baggett and Charlotte Ford of Colliers International will represent the property’s remaining 12,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space.

The office space at Terrazzo is represented by Rob Gage of Cassidy Turley.

Terrazzo’s retail space features ceiling heights of up to 22 feet with expansive glass, and are structurally designed to accommodate mezzanines throughout. The retail spaces offer access through the Terrazzo lobby as well as direct exterior, street-level entrances with adjacent landscaped terraces.  Covered, connected parking serves employees and customers, and the streetscape accommodates valet access. BB&T Financial Center, which opened last year, is the anchor retail tenant at Terrazzo.

The $68-million Class-A building is located in the heart of The Gulch, an arts redevelopment district in downtown Nashville.  The Gulch has successfully blended commercial and residential applications to create a walkable community that combines the convenience of shops, restaurants and offices with upscale condominium living.  The Gulch has attracted retailers such as Urban Outfitters, Cantina Laredo, Urban Flats, BB&T, Nashville Clothing Co., and the local Yazoo Brewery.
